Such a light musical comedy with young juvenile actors with Jackie Moran & June Preisser stealing the spotlight as much as they could, and special guests like Mel Tormé & Jimmy Lloyd adding a little variety. Top-billed Pat Parrish was barely noticeable, and she only had one more credited part during her brief career. More than anything, Let's Go Steady (1945) felt pointless. That was often the case with the WWII-era youth musicals that Hollywood spewed-out.
