Weirdest most sexually confusing film ever. Really damn strange MILK SHOOTING PENIS-TREES and vagina plants and underaged teen boys with titties. I had fun though.

Pretty crazy movie that's hard to wrap my head around. I think I liked it a lot, but I'm not sure. Certainly daring and original, with strong cinematography. Almost as if Raoul Ruiz directed a script by 'Lord Auch'...

Cocteau's Orphée meets Clockwork Orange in what is surely the most bodily-fluid-filled joint I've seen in the past few years. There are some genuine aesthetic qualities in there, but boy does the film have a lot to say about gender, violence and sex, none of it interesting. Where surrealist works were ambiguous and lyrical, this is always univocal and--for all the mystical pretence--rather predictable, the onirism frequently deflated by what I'll charitably assume is intentional comedy.

A horny, gender-bending journey into magic realism with an aesthetic that puts the "cock" in Cocteau. I love it so much.

More beautiful than engaging. Cum, piss, blood, black and white and neon colors to tell a surreal, crazy coming of age story about boys sent to the sea to have their lives reformed -- instead, they crash on an island that turns them into women.
