Les dieux s'amusent

The French language version of the German original Amphitryon (1935). The German adaptation was more elegantly performed than this French speaking version. It's different actors and different takes to the whole Gods and adultery angle. In that regard Les dieux s'amusent (1935) might be even more playful within the rhythms of Gods, though less refined. Still there a couple of movies that deserves a larger audience because they're so different to anything else made at the time.
