The Gambler's Ruin isn't a great melodrama. Does have qualities, but damn did I struggle to get through these 47 minutes! Rare that I need that many times to finish a movie, falling asleep 3 times and being interrupted once. Well, mission accomplished and I doubt I'll revisit it even if things became more clear with each attempt.
