Leme do destino estreava há 1 ano na Mostra de São Paulo. She’s literally me! Hahaha É bem peculiar você ir ver um filme sem saber nada sobre ele, só o fato do Bressane ser um dos meus cineastas favoritos, e se enxergar completamente no que está vendo, tanto nas questões sentimentais quanto estéticas. ABSOLUTE CINEMA. MKO.

It's maybe the Bressane I like the least in his recent run -- maybe since Sentimental Education --, but still a pretty engrossing take on the erotic, breezy -- or not -- exchanges involving love and desire -- from objects looming over these two writers who don't publish books and just write for themselves to autumnal exterior images of Rio de Janeiro. Strongly recommended for anyone willing to immerse in the director's poetic cinema.
