Shazam!: Magic and Monsters is a lot of fun. It fleshes out some of the Shazam! story for those of us who have only seen the live-action movie. The cute funny Lego version of the DC characters is present here but it isn't as punchy as The Lego Movie or Lego Batman. I still had a lot of fun watching the movie. I did find it a little too long. I think they could have trimmed 10 minutes or more from it and it wouldn't have lost anything.
