Legendary

As a former wrestler I was looking forward to seeing this movie, but had tempered expectations. I was satisfied. Legendary is a decent inspirational family flick with passable acting. The wrestling itself is pretty realistic for the most part, which I appreciated. On the downside, Cena is distractingly buff, as (real) wrestlers aren't bodybuilders, Glover's role is disappointing considering the end, and the 'fireworks' are just ridiculous.

TV movie of the week fare.

The fireworks and fire in the gym was way to much come on.

The script feels half-developed in places, but it was better than I expected (although it does get excessively melodramatic at times and the relationship between Cal & his mother is a bit too Oedipal for my tastes.)

As Barny (How I Met Your Mother) would say: "That's just the "Le" we've still got the "gen", the "da" and the "ry" to go!"

This film is very BLINDSIDE but I think less gushy and more realistic. I'd say this is a horribly unrated film. B+
