Scott is the best actor in the film and I'm not just talking about during the decent action scenes either. Most of the acting is serviceable but no one really brings it. I liked the gritty style and most of the fights/action the story is super oft told and basic but that didn't really detract from my enjoyment. This is a slightly better than average dramatic action thriller that entertains while being utterly forgettable.

Lots of action along with decent plotline and dialog. It has several idiotic gun battles, but also a few good fight sequences. Good soundtrack and music. You do have to be willing to overlook a bunch of stupid Hollywood crap that wasn't really needed. The WTF moments nearly ruins it. Better than many other Scott Adkins movies. The ending was rather pathetic. Overall, some of it was absurd but some of it was exciting. Worthwhile.

For a Scott Adkins movie, plus one worked so heavily by Ukrainians, it was one of his good ones, they made decent efforts. Not the most original of plots, but they still managed to add fresh details to it and characters easy to side with. Decent action too, and they were not afraid to give the character flaws, so it passes the time.

It would be much better if there were less silly, boring, convoluted spy games -- dead wife popping up once in a while in ghostly appearances, a final speech on the danger of fake news to free press, that totally disjointed finale -- and to-the-bones ultraviolent action scenes -- few, but really good, like that Sua/Adkins fight.
