A country simpleton has to go back to school before he can get his inheritance. Bourvil character is not too far off Stuart Erwin's old characters of the 1930s. Just clueless guy trying to figure out life as he goes along, making a mess along the way. The humor was okay. What made this film extra special was it being Brigitte Bardot movie debut. She had my attention right from the start, even as a brunette!
