This is what remains of Julien Duvivier's Le tourbillon de Paris [The Whirlwind of Paris] (1928). A 48-min version, so that means half missing. Still a fairly watchable drama. Nothing too spectacular considering it comes from Duvivier, but still a simple and classy production.
