Le chaînon manquant

Ugly animation with ugly designs, crappy music and boring unfunny story. This is a cult film that is not worth searching out.

I reckon this was a massive disappointment by Picha. It's a rarely amusing missed opportunity, the characters motivations are childishly dumb, and the crude cartoon style is lazy, bland, unimaginative, and massively inconsistent. The American dub features some horrendous sound design, and the voices by "The Funny Bros" sounds like they're improvising the dialogue themselves -- it's awful, though I doubt the original soundtrack would've made this film any more watchable.
