Le Trésor des Iles Chiennes

Something significant about the small flurry of shoestring budget, post-modern sci-fi/post-apocalypse narratives coming out in the 80s/90s French arthouse scene, while it was also in a state of slowly disavowing its elite cultural reputation. Bits and pieces of the map scattered in wild places as Borges has it. Great use of music again, but largely incoherent and dull viewing.
