Beni yak kendini yak herşeyi yak. Yansın Paris. Genç yaşta Paris'e okumak için gelen genç oğlanımız, otobüs durağındaki kızımıza kur yapıp aşk yaşarlar. Köyüne babasının yanına gelen genç, okul aşkı ile karşılaşır. Siyah beyaz formatta çekilen film, oyuncuların cesaretiyle izletiyor. Fakat o kadar ağır ki. Birde kostümcü bulamamışlar. Oyuncular hep aynı kıyafetleri giymiş. Filmin sonunda, babayı görüyor. Son pişmanlık neye yarar? Herşeyin bedeli var. Olmadı ya.

Simplicity, elegance and poignancy altogether in a film about the everyday complexities of love, sex and living together with someone -- through exactly three women who could't be more different; a romantic relationship that never leads them to bed; an old collegial hometown love that returns and gets rapidly ignited and washed away by his selfishness of not accepting a baby; and a freewheeling exchange with a woman who sometimes sleeps with a work colleague. Easygoing, but never superficial.

This film is about the impossibility of heterosexual love where the young guy is an archetypal everyman who tries to conquer every woman he meets however briefly. The women he meets get attached to him and get burned by his insecurities, cowardice, jealousy and selfishness. "Men are cowards and women are desperate" genre has seen better films like Bergman's "Scenes from a marriage" to Rohmer's "A Summer's Tale". Emotions take time to develop and this movie has no room or time for that.
