Laughter

watched a while ago but from what i recall it has an abundance of moments and ideas, many of them quite striking, moving or unsettling in themselves (the confrontation with the shooter, mosquito story, crying woman, phone battery, disciplinary meeting, and so on), but they're thrown together in such a painfully haphazard tryhardy way it was hard to grasp any real emotional or intellectual throughline. it is the kind of thing people will compare to kaufman or carax though so YMMV.
