Las chicas están bien

Lightest possible meta film -- actresses and director bringing their experiences to a play rehearsal in a village during a summer week that ends being the film itself, the very collection of their thoughts on grief, loneliness, death, love and, of course, performing arts -- as a pretty straightforward walking and talking and hanging out Linklater-ish friendship story. It's not revolutionary or anything, but just imagine if half of films that have this same ambition were as laid-back as this one.
