L'angoissante aventure

Russian immigrants making pictures in France! The story in Agonizing Adventure really feels like it's mashed together without much care. They just wanted a vamp'ish tale and had a series of scenarios they pushed in there clumsily without really getting the hardship of the relationship all that clear. And the climax was a real cheater too. So while it felt kind of lame, there was at least plenty happening and Mozzhukhin did a saving acting job. Mozzhukhin really is the European Barrymore!
