Terrible, I give this movie no respect, no respect I tell ya. If I remember correctly there is a frightening scene where the joke is that Dangerfield is fucking Brandis in a dressing room.

If I were Jonathan Brandis, I would have killed myself, too. On the bright side, we get to see the Rodney Dangerfield "confused/intrigued face," which he makes at least twenty times in each film....ah, good times.

Vaguely recall seeing this as a kid, now not surprised I remembered little. I quite like Dangerfield but a lot of his gags here miss the mark. At least it’s back from an era when you could stick adult jokes right in a kids' film and nobody would bat an eyelid – the carefree cross-dressing plot certainly wouldn’t be tolerated today either. Silly and you could probably put up with it on in the background, but dedicating your time to it feels a bit much.

Cheap comedy featuring Dangerfield made during his decline period, Ladybugs was the last big screen vehicle for him before taking up permanent residence in DTV land. Furie's attachment to the project spelt doom from the getgo (he directed Superman IV), and the lack of laughs is obvious from the first frame. Dangerfield tries, but even his trademark one liners mostly fall flat because of the bad dialogue and Furie's leaden direction. Brandis just makes matters worse.

My childhood friggin loves this movie! No 'Cop and a Half' though...but probably better than 'Drop Dead Fred'...

I thought it was funny when I was a kid. Chances are I was wrong and it was terrible. Until then.....45!

A great movie for kids whose parents wish them to become sexually confused.

Really...what little girl didn't love Jonathan Brandis? I'm going to go against the grain here and give it a rather high score, if for nothing more than nostalgia. P.S. I will always HATE Rodney Dangerfield -_-

lame movie is slightly elevated by energetic cast

Bad Rodney Dangerfield is still Rodney Dangerfield, and he's always at least a little funny.

The funniest movie about soccer ever made. While this is a movie you should never want to see, I must admit I've seen it eight times and will stop just about anything to watch it again.

Rodney Dangerfield should not be allowed to star in children's films. HIS EYES.
