Lady in the Iron Mask

Gender reversal of Alexander Dumas' The Man in the Iron Mask, putting the mask over Patricia Medina's face rather than Louis Hayward's. Actually Hayward played the lead in the male version from 1939, and in this one takes the role of the one that saves the masked prisoner. I usually like Hayward adventures, but this one felt a little rough around the edges. Not enough care regarding the action, nor its characters. But does proved some thrills, even if it's a slightly hollow interpretation.
