Lady in the Dark

Ginger Rogers in a dreamy psychoanalytic love story. Fascinating approach using very Hollywood like musical settings for her to get to grips with her feelings. Can't say this was Ginger at her best, or that the film as a whole was up to her standards, but it had it's moments.

Opulent art direction dresses up meandering story of magazine editor prone to revealing, pageant-like dreams. Weird to watch a musical with 1.5 songs, but certainly a curio.
