La trampa

Tries the mysterious chilling marriage formula to mixed result. There was a couple of scenes where I felt it, but so much of this felt like a ordinary relationship melodrama without much edge.

Zully Moreno is a fairly affluent, lonely single woman who answers a personal ad looking for a wealthy single woman with no relations (no, really) for longtime companionship and marriage. She meets handsome George Rigaud, a reclusive author living in a house that is supposed to be haunted. Naturally, his intentions do not turn out to be honourable. It's certainly interesting to see a cheap, genre melodrama from Argentina, but this is so by the numbers you could set your watch to it.
