Marie Epstein & Jean Benoît-Lévy really made a wonderful poetic movie with children melting my heart! They really capture an honest illustration of child psychology in this movie which is why it's so gripping. Watching the children protect the rabbit from becoming dinner. Even more so with the mouse sequence at the end really capture something beautiful. The expressions and actions of the kids are so genuine and the heart just melts at the close-ups. They capture magic on camera with these kids.
