La légende de Polichinelle

It was decent but a bit too much wandering around for my taste.

Pathé assigned Max Linder a little bit of everything in the year or two before he made a name for himself. Here, he's dolled up as everyone's favorite commedia dell'arte puppet for one of those Méliès-inspired fantasy pieces that were so big in France that decade. There's a bunch of special effects, some nice location shots at a castle somewhere, and a ballet spectacle for the ending.
