La fumeria d'oppio

Came across like a Hollywood B-movie. Poorly done, actually. Had expected better from Raffaello Matarazzo. He has made good movies before. This wasn't one of them. But while the production side was bad, the film flows quite well with a lot going on, so it was never dull.
