La figlia del capitano

Mario Camerini with a serious adaptation of Alexander Pushkin's work. More precise, the story The Captain’s Daughter, with Amedeo Nazzari under a lot more make-up and facial hair than we're used to seeing on the Errol Flynn of Italy. They keep a strong pace with the scenes, but it rides more on drama than action, even if it has a solid dose of that too. Just wish they made more out of the scenes, because they had energy, but lacked something making them more memorable.
