You really have to look at this movie in context: some historians argue it's the first narrative film ever made! Is it great? No. Is it important? Yes!

Wild the way she just plops those little babies right on the cold floor and leaves em there.

Kinda cute, but the lack of visual tricks or compelling action make it mostly a dud.

One of the earliest fantasy films in existence. A fairy of the cabbage patch stands in the middle of the 1 minute scene as babies are seen 'born' from the vegetables around her. There are better works from the earliest period of film but it's still interesting. It's a sweet image, and as one of the first fantasy films to be made, it has great importance.
