Based on what little we have to judge them by, Charles Prince's Rigadin comedies featured settings and content very similar to Max Linder's--they did come out of the same studio, after all--but generally played things a fair bit broader.

A short French comedy with French comedian Charles Prince and Mistinguett, who can also be seen together in Les timidités de Rigadin (1910), aka A Shy Youth. Not all that funny, but you get a sense of the times with women's liberations of having careers and now the men feeling neglected.
