La bête dans la jungle

Bozon's lavish cinematography is the real star in this curious little French metaphysical journey following a man obsessed with both something amazingly beautiful or terrible that will happen anytime soon -- or actually not, being it probably time itself and its cruelty towards people -- and this girl he always encounters in the same nightclub year after year, from 1979 to 2004. A bit stretched, perhaps, as it takes some time to get things going -- second half is so better than the first.
