La Zona belyser hur omöjlig situationen kan vara för dem som inte bor i ett samhälle med den slags grundläggande trygghet och säkerhet vi i Sverige utgår från. Och hur det bakom vår civiliserade fernissa finns ett barbari redo att släppas loss. Filmens tema berör och berättelsen åskådliggör tydligt de krafter som omger människor och som vi lätt tappar kontrollen över. Filmen är nära en femma, men det som till slut drar ner betyget är att skådespeleriet inte alltid är i niv

I gave this film 1/100 instead of 0/100 simply for having the milf-tastic Maribel Verdu in it.

Like a dramatised version of the Stanford prison experiment, only on a village-sized scale, with a bit of the Lord of the Flies thrown in for good measure. It's a good thriller, with some very tense moments, but it's a bit heavy-handed with the moralising. Economic segregation, surveillance society, police corruption, vigilantism... all bad, okay? Also has one or two moments that really stretch the bounds of credibility, but overall a pretty decent film.

Pretty intense with some nice excitement and suspense. Definitely watcheable. 4 small stars out of 6.

Thought-provoking, but nowhere near flawless.

Powerful material... it could have been a major thing if it didn't have a few insufficiencies but still it's something to appreciate.

some major plot holes and credibility problems aside, this is quite a powerful (and depressing) film...
