La Vie Miraculeuse de Thérèse Martin

A uneven tale of a saint, but there are enough remarkable moments that Julien Duvivier's less famous creation still has a lot to offer. Some of it feels like The Passion of Joan of Arc, other parts like Nosferatu. Makes it difficult to know exactly what to make of it. What is clear is that the actors contribution and the visual approach was of high quality.

Absolutely beautiful. It's contemplative, solemn, tranquil, the cinematography feels celestial and Theresa’s acting is fantastic. Truly a movie that makes you understand the hype for christianity, even if I completely disagree with it as an atheist
