The rural snowy landscapes combined with the angel face of Michèle Morgan had me mesmerized! There's not much to the story. Preacher and son both fall in love with this blind girl who grows up in their care, and naturally it results in sweet tragedy. The tones are easy and effective. The focus on Morgan's face unforgettable.

Só quero deixar um adendo aqui sobre filmes/livros que tratam pais adotivos se apaixonando por suas filhas como se isso fosse absolutamente normal, isso deve ser algum tipo de fantasia masculina recorrente se pensarmos o tanto de filhas biológicas que são igualmente abusadas por seus pais.
