A fairly lively French costume drama about a assassination. Had a lot that worked for it, but there was something about it s narrative that didn't draw me in as it should. It was more individual scenes that were fun and engaging, but not the product as a whole. Jean Devaivre's film still won the award at Locarno International Film Festival, so there are people who liked it a lot more than me.
