La Comédie-Française ou L'amour joué

One of the more explicitly philosophical of Wiseman's films as actors/actresses, dramturges and directors interpret and construct texts to determine the deeper meaning of what it is that they are performing. Wiseman's brilliance as an editor is on full show here as he seamlessly cuts from table readings to dress rehearsals to opening night performances.
