Stylish and amusing, with effective use of music and some good dialogue, but at its core perhaps a little too conventional to be really interesting.

Sorrentino delivers another cast of eccentrics whose actions are never in the least bit predictable. His characters are interesting thanks to their quirkiness, and although the plot becomes a bit of a runaway train of silliness, there is enough of a spark to keep it interesting. Visually very impressive, as always, and the soundtrack was like some kind of 80s electrodisco car crash which for some reason I only want more of. Maybe becoming Italy's answer to Jeunet?
