The fighting is a lot closer to the gun kata from Equilibrium than I'm comfortable with. I like people punching each other in the face but I'm not so big on ballet so this was an interesting watch. Honestly, each fight is a strangely stilted dance and the entire movie is fights. I had enough fun.

Without the kung fu, I might give this a 0 and it would probably be the worst film I've ever seen. They didn't establish any stakes, the "heros" are very hateable, villians motives are unexplained and a few moments make no sense. Could possibly be due to the translation. All the points are for the fighting alone. There are many far better examples of this type of film.

A classic of the genre, and as is often the case with those, it's absolutely terrible in every way except for the fighting, which is truly spectacular. High-speed and eclectic, featuring everything from acrobatics to wrestling and even a bite or two.
