The movie has too many really stupid weapon fights, swords made of rubber and so on. I really began to dislike this one since it is mostly so full on nonsense.

This is yet another TV series that was edited down to movie length at the expense of story and character development. The only reason that I rated this "movie" as high as I did was because I enjoy seeing Yuen Biao in movie and doing fight scenes. This is edited from Legend of Shaolin Kungfu: Part II: 13 Cudgel Monks.

It's a 2 hour highlight reel of the fight scenes from a Chinese Television series. It cuts out most of the story, choosing to present endless fight sequences with almost no context. Much of the fighting is of a high quality (despite the obvious cheapness of the sets and production), but ultimately unsatisfying due to the apparent pointlessness of all of it.

This movie wasn't horrible, but it had a lot of flaws, the biggest being that, even for a martial arts movie, it had too little plot. Its basically a lot of fight scenes put together with a little dialog. You get no break, so even good action scenes get tiresome. Also, the transitions are weird (like going from day to night instantly in trhe same fight, of the main guy escaping from jail between scenes with no explination). Even for people that love martial arts movie, I wouldn't reccomend this.
