okay story told in an okay fashion.

Russian melodrama from celebrated silent director Pyotr Chardynin. But sadly this one didn't do much for me. Very ordinary plot of a dancer and her lovers without any real dramatic points. Not dramatic enough to grasp ones attention anyway. So this movie is mostly to see ballerina Vera Karalli swing herself on stage.
