Heavy and reliable Norwegian drama about a mother disgraced, going around town with a fellow outcast getting drunk at Kranes konditori [Krane's Bakery Shop] (1951), while people gossip and ridicule her and her abandoned family. Stars Rønnaug Alten & Erik Hell, who for the most part are long forgotten, but it's got Wenche Foss, Toralv Maurstad and Aud Schønemann. Grinds its message a little too hard, but it gets the message across and it's surprisingly well acted.
