Komödianten

A stab at the vulgar theater which the Nazi's associated with the Jews. Takes place in the different time, but the message is clear. To honor a white lady's quest to save serious theater from those grotesque comedies. Directed by the great G.W. Pabst, the production is delicious. However the story threads too much into the seriousness of the serious they're trying to hype and becomes dull for long stretches because of it. A fine drama... but lacking sparkles to really get their heart across.
