The most interesting thing about this singing western is that it's produced by none other then Stan Laurel of Laurel & Hardy fame! Apparently he sponsored 3 of these low budget westerns for sweet voiced Fred Scott and his sidekick Al St. John in 1938. Sadly it's ordinary and boring. One would thing at least the comic bits would have been in place as one the best gag men in the business was paying for this, but no. At least Fred got to sing his sweet melodies.
