Knick Knack

The animation looks like something out of a Playstation 2 game, but the premise is cute enough. It's decent for it's time, but it feels like some people overrate it due to the Pixar brand being attached, it's not THAT good.

My favourite. BTW, I prefer the older version where girls' got the boobs. :7 Do not forget that this animation was made somewhere in the late eighties. Redone version is not that old though (similar than the original except they did it more suitable for kids...).

I want to place this little short on my shelf and dust it every day, it's that good! A snowman in his globe gets invited over by a cute Hula dancing girl, but there's one problem... he's trapped in his globe! He tries everything to escape and that adds a ton of comedy. The animation is much better in this short compared to the earlier ones...

Great story line. The animation still wasn't great, but it wasn't even 1990 yet. Still one of my favorite Pixar shorts.

A pure comedy short. It's got a great acapella jazz soundtrack, which sets the tone nicely, a good narrative (if brief and shallow) and some great gags. The animation isn't as solid as earlier shorts, neither is the art design, but it's impressive nonetheless. Good fun.

This horny snowman touched me as a child because I had never seen anyone try so hard to get a piece of ass.

"Knick Knack" is occasionally funny, but too simple - and a long way from "Toy Story".

A smirk-inducing short that's just short enough to be adorable.

A relic from the dawn of high concept 3d animated shorts, and a testament to how silly and pointless they all look years later when even the animation technology doesn't impress anyone.

It might not be really a technical achievement, but it's great. Pixar was becoming a specialist in making features about losers.

Whatever the quality of the animation is, pixar always convinces its audience with great and funny stories.

Very simple, but a nice and fun Pixar short.

This one is a fun little tale with a fun soundtrack by Bobby McFerrin.

At first this seemed like an outdated tech demo, only interesting historically, but the story is pretty cute and well done, making it quite a fun, if visually simple, film.
