Klondike

This started out strong but it got increasingly more convoluted until the rushed and unsatisfied ending.

Difficult to really pin-point this movie. It's a low budget production, but in a way it's carried well by a lot of familiar faces. A lot of the acting is very stagy, but also sets an atmosphere and makes the limited production watchable. So I guess it's a good poverty row movie, but a bad one if one compare to the major studios. The one that deserves the most props is Jason Robards Sr. who turns evil of jealousy. He gives this almost a horror movie ending in the way he turns bad.
