As stated in the synopsis this is a follow on for a film done quite a while before. what may be seen as a cynical cash grab following the success of Kids Return is actually IMO mildly OK benefitting I feel from a more serious tone (as time runs out) to make a buck while still relatively young. IMHO if you liked the first movie this one is essential.
