Kitchen Party

It’s nice to watch a smaller budgeted teen comedy from the late 90’s where they aren’t trying to set trends and gone is the witty banter and it’s been replaced by snark, angst and pent up sexual frustration (the kids AND the adults). The ending sequences if not done properly would be so cloyingly dramatic but this one just lays the groundwork needed to really feel for the characters simultaneous breakdowns. How it all started in the kitchen as Dando once said.

A wonderful piece of Canadiana.

This is an amusing low budget film. Some of the characters are funny and interesting. I liked how they went back and forth between the parents and the kids.
