An outlandish science-fiction, comedy-thriller full of tongue-and-cheek action, ingenious gadgets in the James Bond style combining violence and tension with polished villainy and flippant espionage, as the resourceful CIA Mike "Mannix" Connors and British agents, Dorothy Provine and Terry-Thomas (both previously in "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World") escape death-traps on land, sea and air. One of the best eurospy films which admittedly is not much of a praise. It's a De Laurentiis production which ensures that it has an adequate budget for sets and well utilized Brazil locations. It's actually a spy spoof, but luckily there are so few jokes that it's about as serious as Moore-era Bond films. Connors is bland as the lead, but Provine and Terry-Thomas are more interesting - she as an English agent who holds her own against danger and he as the loyal butler/co-agent. Worth a watch.
