Corliss Archer, 15, and Mildred Pringle, 17, are best friends, and get into some mischief together which causes their parents to start fighting over who is a bad influence on whom. Their fight also has an affect on Mildred and Lenny Archer, Corliss' brother, who elope one weekend when Lenny's home on leave from the Army. Fearing that the Pringles would want the marriage annulled, the couple decides not to tell anyone about it except Corliss. (imdb)

Shirley Temple is growing up. Kiss and Tell (1945) would be her last movie as underage, yet the entire theme is surprisingly flirty and sexual. All seemingly done in that innocent Hollywood way of old, but there was no doubt everyone's favorite little girl was becoming a woman. Fun rump.

An amiable comedy adapted from a Broadway hit that becomes increasingly frenetic and less funny as it goes on. Temple is really good in the lead, and she would play this character opposite David Niven in it's sequel ... the last film she made before retiring from acting.
