In World War II, the Nazis require a special mineral, Compound X, discovered in Canada. Although intended to cure paralysis, the Nazis have discovered that it can be used in magnetic mines to destroy the British fleet and blockade America to prevent it assisting the Allies. The Mounties discover this plot and work to defeat and capture the Nazi spies sent to obtain the ore. (Wikipedia)

Honestly there isn't much variation one can do with a Mountie adventure series. Have you seen one Mountie movie, then you have have seen majority of what that genre delivers. Doesn't matter if Republic Pictures does a extended 12-episode edition. Still the usual cops & crooks chase outside in nature. Works okay for a mindless action kick. There is however one noticeable difference. World War II mentality has crept in, resulting in a ending with a clear patriotic message for propaganda purposes.
