King of Thieves

Decent cast, sub-par heist action. This is apparently based on a true story, but the only real draw here are the actors and the fact that they're old. Sadly, this isn't the only heist movie with old actors, it's been done plenty of times before, even with Michael Caine, and this one just doesn't the mustard.

Silly, but worth it for the cast having fun.

It's not terrible it's mostly just bland.

I've been growing tired of Michael Caine for a while, and this movie does nothing to change that. The production quality and music felt like the 80's. The characters and events were very poorly presented. It was a struggle to keep watching to the end. My rating may be a bit low, but I simply did not enjoy it enough to rate it much higher. It lacked excitement beyond watching a group of dangerous, devious, and greedy old fools.

Kind of cozy. Kind of lazy.

[Stream this one] I'm starting to like this trend of "Old, British guys doing a heist movie." Not as fun as other heist movies, but if the idea of these guys plotting behind each others' backs excites you, this is a good one to watch.
