King of Kong Island

A mad scientist and his scarred henchman bent on world domination implant mind-controlling devices on two gorillas as a first step in assembling an unstoppable army of apes. This is what happens sad post-imperial fantasies and no budget mix. No character is likeable (in 2015), especially the lead, a dull, sweaty-faced meatblock who has no chemistry with anyone. The white folks attempt to kill wildlife, represented by stock footage, but miss. A positive: The villain's dubbing sounds like Krankor.

Terrible.

Apparently "Kong Island" is Africa. This is a meandering mess with an awfully tacky score.
