King Gambler

I've never been a huge fan of Chinese gambling films and this seems to have been one of the OGs but it still plays out like nearly every one of the others I've seen. The film is very episodic and some segments were better than others but what it really did was ruin the pacing of the film. Some parts of this film seemed heavily inspired by the American film The Sting from 1972. Without a doubt, the best thing about this movie was its large cast of big-name stars and familiar faces.
