Huge pile of crap. Having a bunch of foul mouthed wannabe British gang bangers does not guarantee a good movie. This band of misfits are the most ridiculous group I've seen in quite a while. The ignorant writers of this piece of crap are just pandering to out-of-control teenage criminals. The music is horrible. Thick British accents are nearly impossible to decipher. There were few performances even worth the watching. I should have given up on it about half way in. Apparently West London sucks

Follow a bunch of mostly unlikable kids through a typical day. What could go wrong? As it turns out, everything.

Top badass moment? There're plenty of 'growing-up' badass moments, but I'm choosing Alisa giving some home truths to the bullies on the tube. They were horrible, but at least I know they're probably all junkies, prostitutes or unmarried mothers now. (When I write things like that they so make me sound so like a Tory. I'm really not, honest!) 1 cat, no chainsaws or decapitations. A cute grey cat makes a brief but scene-stealing appearance, jumping off a sofa and then wondering about a bit.

Hard hitting and completely worrying if you have teenagers. Full of sad characters trying to find their way in life and failing dismally. Filmed and edited in a modern, jerky way that will appeal to the young. I am probably too old to enjoy this film but appreciate it's appeal.

Sort of like Grange Hill, but with extra swearing. Flippancy aside, it's not bad - I liked the frenetic MTV-style editing and the urban soundtrack (Dizzee Rascal, Roots Manuva and so on). The film has an energy and a briskness that makes it very easy to watch, and it makes some genuine points about the problems being faced by inner city youths in Britain, but my main gripe is the lack of a main character who I actually cared about. It feels too unfocused and ends up being fairly unengaging.

Not totally without merit, and I can see why many will get something from this movie. Some of the performances from the young cast are pretty good. I found too many of the characters just too unlikable and overall it just didn't really do it for me on any level.

I maybe shouldn't like it as much as I do, but I do, and view it as a near classic. This energetic british "KIds" is very entertaining, has an excellent soundtrack (though it gets a little too music viedo-y at times) and great performances from young unknowns. The "what happened after" closing credits are unneccessary. Whoever played Trife's uncle turns in a marvelously deranged performance. From later ventures it doesn't seem Noel Clarke has much else of worth to offer, but this is excellent.

Very shocking, and hard hitting. The story line isn't that great, but the way it is made is reason to watch it at least once. You'll be thinking about this for a long time afterwards.
